    Solid diner. Which is a compliment. They have everything you could possibly want and it’s good quality. We always have an excellent breakfast when we come here. The prices aren’t as cheap as other diners but it’s more than worth it because it’s clean, the food is delicious, and the staff is friendly.

    One of the very best diners in philly. Diverse employees who are friendly and seem to genuinely enjoy there jobs. I visited 3 consecutive days for breakfast. Everything was awesome. Immediate Parking is available and free but limited to 10 spots to the front of the diner. Breakfast at Melrose Diner in Philly is a must.

    The down home staple meatloaf and mashed potatoes are stellar. I got takeout and it was packaged nicely and the meal was ideal. I haven't been eating right since the death of my special angel and this was my first real meal that I ate in two weeks.

    5 stars before the new owner took over. Changed items on the menu. So disappointed every time I go now because I remember how great it was. If he could bring it back to the way it was would be so much better

    One of the best breakfasts I've ever had.... I'VE EVER HAD!! Breakfast Combo was where it was at for me: Blueberry pancakes, bacon, sausage, and eggs, all for under $15, it doesn't get any better than that! Great old school diner, the place is clean (sans the restroom), staff was prompt and super friendly, and again the food and coffee was fantastic!! I would recommend it! Next time I'm in Philly, I'm definitely coming back!
